Update: The Stretchers - co-developed by Little Nightmares studio Tarsier Studios and published by Nintendo - has now released on both the European and the Australia/New Zealand eShop, a few hours after it became available on the Japanese eShop.

Players take on the role of a two-person rescue team called "The Stretchers", and must respond to rescue calls from around the island to rescue the lightheaded islanders. When you control two medical staff, use a stretcher sc to "dizzy" patients and navigate to an ambulance, you can pour them behind and then get up and hit the fence, walls and other vehicles.

Like Overcooked, players must work together in hilarious and undoubtedly comically frustrating ways if they hope to be successful as the Dizzies' last hope.

In addition to the main tasks, there will also be secondary missions in the game - cutting down trees, building ramps, blowing up rocks and even playing hide-and-seek with your friends.

Nintendo unveiled a new smaller title for the Nintendo Switch system titled The Stretchers last night. Their Home Base will also enjoy a bit of TLC with unlockable furniture, like an Arcade Machine that replays missions so that players can find bonus items they missed first time round.

The Stretchers is now available exclusively on Nintendo.com and in Nintendo eShop on Nintendo Switch for $19.99.
