Arkansas has chose to back the U.S Justice Department's decision to approve a merger of T-Mobile US TMUS.O and Sprint S.N , the third and fourth largest USA wireless carriers.

Yesterday during T-Mobile's presentation about the New T-Mobile after it merges with Sprint, T-Mobile announced they will offer free talk, text, and 5G data to first responders.

T-Mobile Connect. A new $15-a-month phone plan option which T-Mobile says is for "everyone, especially lower-income consumers".

Project 10Million. A new program created to "eradicate the homework gap that exists for millions of children by offering free service and hotspots and reduced cost devices to 10 million households around the US over five years". And if that wasn't enough, the company is also planning to give free wireless service to every first responder in America.

T-Mobile has already made promises to get the deal done, including providing coverage in rural areas and not raising prices for three years. The main concern of the lawsuits is that the merger will shrink competition, as the number of mobile network operators in the USA will go front four to three. This services will offer 100 GB of details per yr, and a no cost tablet or laptop. Once you are accepted into the program T-Mobile will give the family free internet for 5 years. The $15 plan is for anyone, but comes with just 2 gigabytes of data per month.

T-Mobile says once the merger with Sprint is complete they will move aggressively to make these plans a reality.
