Daniel Jones continues to make that look like a hard decision.

Plenty of evaluators questioned whether drafting Jones No. 6 overall was the correct move for the franchise, but the young quarterback has silenced his doubters thus far.

Relieving starter Eli Manning after one series, Jones completed 9 of 11 passes for 141 yards in a 25-23 win over the Browns on Thursday. He has looked great both in training camp and in preseason action the first two games and hasadmirably handled all the media attention and pressure that naturally comes with being a franchise QB in NY.

From all indications, all of the decision-makers on the Giants - owner John Mara, General Manager Dave Gettleman and coach Pat Shurmur - are on the same page that Manning is the starting quarterback and Jones will develop better in the long run if he has some time to learn while watching Manning from the sideline. You can ask me all you want about why I like him. "I think it's time to start asking the people that didn't like him what they think, quite frankly".
