According to Theo Lawson of The Spokesman Review, HBO is planning to film at Washington State during the season. PSU Athletics released the following statement Tuesday morning: "As we do with all opportunities we feel can enhance our program, we are exploring the prospect of working on this project with the appropriate officials from all parties involved". It would be similar to the network's popular long-running National Football League show "Hard Knocks", which provides behind-the-scenes access and interviews during National Football League training camps. Those episodes are packed with drama and personalities and often show the hard work and hard conversations that go with the job.

The network behind the hit show Hard Knocks is reportedly considering Alabama, Arizona, Penn State and Washington State. Either way, the show as it's being reported should be a fun look at how Franklin and his coaching peers conduct business behind closed doors.

While the show is expected to follow numerous same beats of the NFL-focused version of Hard Knocks that has aired for 14 seasons on HBO, there will nearly certainly have to be some changes. The show followed the Ravens in its inaugural season in 2001.

Per DevilsDigest.com, HBO plans to visit ASU the week the Sun Devils host the Cougars in Tempe, on October 12.
