In the rankings compiled by respected boxing website Box Rec, the undefeated U.S. welterweight headed the list from former rival Manny Pacquiao and Argentinian middleweight Carlos Monzon.

Gibbons, the president of Pacquiao's MP Promotions, thinks Mayweather wants no part of Pacquiao, who is coming off a scintillating win over a much younger and previously unbeaten Keith Thurman for the WBA welterweight crown.

Unsurprisingly, Mayweather agreed with the rankings.

Mayweather, 42, has won world titles in five different weight classes over a 21-year career.

Despite the renewed clamor for a sequel sparked by the two rivals' back-and-forth on their social feeds last month, the probability of a second mega-fight is bleak, global matchmaker Sean Gibbons told the PSA Forum on Tuesday.

"Numbers don't lie and boxrec told the truth", Mayweather wrote on his social media accounts.

That earned him 2256 points on the Box Rec rankings, way ahead of Pacquiao (1629). He was sentenced to 11 years in prison for killing his wife 1988. The heavyweight great was fourth in the list.

Boxing legend Sugar Ray Leonard has called on Floyd Mayweather to come out of retirement and face Manny Pacquiao in the ring one more time.

Bernard Hopkins (1470) is fifth ahead of Sugar Ray Robinson (1469), Joe Louis (1466) and Archie Moore (1289).
