Wrestling superstar Jeff Hardy, half of the WWE's "The Hardy Boyz" tag team, was arrested by Myrtle Beach, S.C., police on Saturday and charged with public intoxication, according to a report. There's no word yet on what led to the arrest, but Myrtle Beach is a notorious arrest trap for people visiting from out of town and partying too much.

Jeff now finds himself on WWE's injury reserve list having suffered a leg issue severe enough for the company to strip him and brother Matt of their SmackDown Tag Team Championships, and isn't expected to return for another 5-7 months. It was reported that he would be out of action for 6-9 months.

Jeff Hardy is no stranger to being in trouble with the law and his history of substance abuse and alcohol is also well-documented. It also won't hurt his ability to appear in SC and is on the same level as a parking ticket locally.

Jeff - known as Brother Nero - was reportedly detained at about 11.15am (local time) on Saturday in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
