Amy Hart has taken to social media after her exit from Love Island 2019.

This evening's episode sees a shock recoupling that ends with one boy being dumped from the villa.

Amy emphasised that she left the show for the sake of her mental health, and made a decision to retain her "sanity" over remaining in the villa.

New girl Francesca Allen did contemplate coupling up with Marvin, but ended up choosing Curtis Pritchard instead.

He said: "I have no idea why it fizzled out!"

Curtis has said a weight has been lifted off his shoulders now and following the outburst of affection from Longford model Maura, the pair can finally get together as Curtis was holding back as to not upset his ex-partner Amy.

She announced to her fellow Islanders on Tuesday night that she'd be leaving the villa, after sitting Curtis down to explain that they both needed to move on separately.

Despite Curtis being coupled up with Francessca, he had a huge grin on his face after Maura's cheeky question.

He said: "I feel Francesca is more Curtis' type and I think their romance will blossom".

The semi-professional footballer was booted out of the show in a dramatic recoupling during Thursday night's (11.07.19) show.

"But it won't happen easily because Maura will definitely have her say in the matter".

Curtis and Amy had been in a couple since the start of the series, but last week he ended things with Amy, who has now left the villa. They're so comfortable with each other.

"I chose my mental health over the reality show", Amy revealed, adding that watching Curtis crack on with Maura Higgins, 28, would be "self-sabotage". I'm starting to see Michael and Joanna getting really close and they're starting to show those signs.

Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2. "Those couples are the strongest for me".
