Empire of Sin is a strategy game set in 1920s Chicago, where you'll play as one of 14 crime bosses vying for control over the city.

The description of the game, which you can check out below, says that Empire of Sin is an "exciting strategy game from Romero Games and Paradox Interactive, puts you at the heart of the ruthless criminal underworld of Prohibition-era Chicago". "With randomly generated starting conditions, players will have to adapt to survive and do whatever it takes to outsmart, out-gun and outlast their opponents", the official website reveals. Once you make a name for yourself, expand your influence by taking over rival territory and adding more ventures to your repertoire.

When the chips are down and its time to wage war, you'll face-off with enemues in brutal turn-based combat, the goons you recruit building a chemistry to maximise their efficiency and combat damage, ensuring you retain a tight grip on the city. Schmooze, coerce, seduce, threaten, or kill them to get your way.

Make and break alliances, bribe cops, and trade on the black market to gain an edge and expand the influence of your crime family.

Whether you make it to the top with violence, business smarts, or city-wide notoriety, there are a number of ways to become King or Queen of Chicago.

In the trailer, the camera pans back to show the whole city as a series of businesses to be conquered - sort of like that Godfather 2 game on the Xbox 360 and PS3.
