"I will die, but will never insult Modiji's mother and father".

Noting that Modi in the recent days talked about cloud cover "helping" IAF planes evade Pakistani radars during the airstrikes and about climbing trees and eating mangoes, Rahul Gandhi asked, "Modi ji, whenever it rains in India, do all aircraft disappear from the radar". He sought to know what did Modi do for the jobless youth.

She accused the Prime Minister of resorting to politics of lies for political gains at a rally in Punjab's Bathinda.

Ms. Gandhi, said hearing Prime Minister's speeches, one would think the only development in this country had taken place in the last five years.

Accusing the BJP government of not fulfilling its promises, Ms. Gandhi pointed out that not a single person had got the promised ₹15 lakh in his/her bank account, farmers' income had not doubled, nor had inflation reduced in these years. "Rahul Gandhi made the defamatory statement against PM Narendra Modi for which a defamatory suit may be filed by the individual against whom the statement was made", the police said in the action taken report (ATR). He insults my father, grandmother and great grandfather, but I'll never insult his parents or family members. "I'll die, but will never insult Modiji's parents or family members, because I don't belong to RSS or BJP, but am from the Congress". "I will return him love if hatred is thrown at me.We will defeat Modi ji with love, hugging you", he said.

Gandhi said Modi has not responded to his challenge for an open debate on alleged corruption in the Rafale deal for fear of getting exposed.

The Rafale deal will be probed and action taken against the guilty once the Congress comes to power, Gandhi said.
