The news of a flagship K20 smartphone was confirmed through a post on Redmi's official Weibo handle. From the tweet, we can expect the Redmi flagship smartphone to be priced competitively than the OnePlus flagships launched yesterday. The Poco F1 was undoubtedly Xiaomi's first flagship killer offering top-tier performance in a mid-range budget, while also massively undercutting the OnePlus 6T (the then considered flagship killer). With this new release, Xiaomi is looking at the opportunity of competing with OnePlus and is pitting its flagship against the latest OnePlus 7 release. Even though we can not be completely sure about the pricing yet, there is a good chance that the RedmiBook 14 will be even more affordable than Xiaomi's Mi Notebook line. However, there were no clear indication regarding when these smartphones will make their way into the country. Xiaomi hasn't revealed the launch date for its Redmi K20 series as yet. "While it's hard to miss, the 855 in the 'K" is confirmation that the new flagship killer will feature a Snapdragon 855 chipset that will put it on par at least in terms of performance with all of 2019's mobile powerhouses. On Tuesday, we also got to know that this new phone from Redmi would be called the Redmi K20. The Redmi K20 will have 6GB of RAM with 128GB of internal storage. On the front, the smartphone will carry a 20-megapixels selfie camera. Among other specifications, the rumours indicate the Redmi K40 will come with a 6.39-inch full-HD+ screen and a triple rear camera setup (same as Mi 9 SE) with 48-megapixel, 8-megapixel, and a 13-megapixel sensors.

As of now the battery capacity and Android version are not listed on the website. We have even heard that the Redmi K20 would sport a pop-up selfie camera and there has also been a video leak to support the claim.
