Realme's celebrating its one year anniversary in India this month but having been quite successful in the country over the past year, the company's just unveiled its first "global" smartphone in China - the Realme X.

If you're not up to speed, the Realme 3 Pro comes with a new Nightscape Mode, which is a lowlight mode that increases dynamic range and picture quality when taking photos at night or in low-light.

It's official - the Realme X is here and it's the most premium phone the brand has ever put out.

The Realme X is the first Realme phone to offer a pop-up selfie camera (16MP f/2.0). The Realme X is basically the OnePlus 7 Pro with OnePlus 7 (kind of) internals. The screen is covered with Corning Gorilla Glass display, and there is no notch, thanks to the pop-up selfie camera.

The Realme X Lite too will be offered in three RAM and storage variants - RMB 1,199 (approximately Rs 12,200) for the 4GB RAM with 64GB storage, RMB 1,299 (approximately Rs 13,300) for 6GB RAM with 64GB storage, and RMB 1,499 (approximately Rs 15,300) for 6GB RAM with 128GB storage. There is also a MicroSD card slot for further expanding the storage on this device.

In the camera department, the smartphone features a 16-megapixel main sensor with an f/1.7 aperture and is coupled with a 5-megapixel depth sensor. The camera also supports ultra slow-motion video recording of 960fps at 720p resolution, and 120fps at 1080p resolution. It also has an in-display fingerprint sensor, with Realme stating that the module itself is faster and more reliable than first-gen sensors from a year ago. There is also AI HyperBoost technology to ensure smooth performance.

Connectivity options the device include Dual-SIM support, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, micro USB 2.0, and 3.5mm audio jack. It will be available only in 8GB+128GB storage variant and is priced CNY 1899.

The Realme X Lite costs CNY1,199 ($175) for its base 4GB RAM/64GB storage version, CNY1,299 ($190) for the 6GB/64GB units and CNY1,499 ($220) for the top 6GB/128GB variant. While the standard Realme X comes in Steam White and Punk Blue colors, the Realme X Naoto Fukasawa collection will be available with Onion and White Garlic finish.

Now, we've had leaks pouring in about the Realme X for a while now and most of the speculation turned out to be true.
