Nicky Butt is now in charge of the Man Utd Academy and was arrested only hours before Manchester United were beaten 3-0 by Barcelona in the Champions League. "Enquiries are ongoing and anyone with information should contact police".

United declined to comment, however, the news comes on a awful day for the famed Class of '92 - after fellow member Paul Scholes was charged by the Football Association with allegedly breaking their rules on betting.

In January, it was announced that David Beckham, yet another graduate from the side that won the FA Youth Cup with the Red Devils in 1992, was to take a 10% stake in the Ammies subject to FA approval.

Butt was also at Newcastle for a number of years and part of the team (see photo above) that was relegated at Villa Park in 2009.
