While it remains unclear exactly what will separate the rumored OnePlus 7 from the 7 Pro and 7 Pro 5G variants (apart from an obvious and major connectivity distinction), we might find out what the OnePlus 7 "series" is all about in less than a month.

According to Agarwal, the new handset will be unveiled on-stage on May 14, 2019. This year, however, the Chinese company could take a different turn by launching a "Pro" variant of OnePlus 7 along with it.

The tipster has shared the poster of OnePlus with a launch date inscribed on it.

While the latest leak isn't the most revealing ever, it does reveal something that is quite in tandem with the leak that surfaced earlier last week, and that is the fact that there is a OnePlus 7 Pro in the making.

Previous OnePlus 7 leaks have pointed towards more than one handset being launched, with word of the OnePlus 7 Pro potentially arriving alongside the OnePlus 7.

A fairly reputable source just came out with an exact date of when the OnePlus 7 will come out.

We can also see some information about the phone in the leaked image, specifically that it runs on the high-end Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset, has 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, and has software based on Android 9 (Pie).

Meanwhile, OnePlus" CEO Peter Lau, while speaking at European Institute of Design, said that the company is working on "Smart Displays'. He also spoke about building office products for the cloud-connected era, combined with advancements in 5G and AI.
