Manchester United take on the might of Barcelona in the second leg of the Champions League quarter-final trailing 1-0 from the opening tie at Old Trafford last week.

Solskjaer will be able to call on Alexis Sanchez, who has missed the last seven games with a hamstring injury.

He said: "We'll always take confidence from that but we also understand that it's not PSG, it's a different match, a different atmosphere, it's a completely different ball game. It is about taking a deep breath and taking those chances".

"You have to stand up for yourself against big boys because you're going to play against top players in the world and then you can't look round and always ask for help".

"Because against PSG I had a team in my mind when we travelled in the morning, walk out into the stadium, see the stadium and you say "nah, I'll change, I need to do this, he needs to play" and it turned out ok".

As well as the introduction of five times as many search lanes for United fans as normal at the Nou Camp following dialogue between United and the Manchester United Supporters' Trust (MUST), there will be an increased number of United staff as well as officials from the FA and Uefa on the ground. We've been practicing finishing, but when you don't work the keeper you can't score.

"Their result against Manchester City, who are one of the best teams and have some of the best players in the competition, showed that they can compete with the best".

Solskjaer's side battled to a 2-1 win over West Ham in the Premier League at Old Trafford on Saturday night thanks to Paul Pobga's late victor from the penalty spot. Sometimes it's a counterattack, sometimes it's a quick play.

They toiled last week at Old Trafford and Solskjaer knows someone will have to step up and make an impact. "Let's hope that when he is on the pitch, he can be happy with his performance".

"We have one of the best goalkeepers in the world", said the Norwegian, but De Gea's future is far from certain as he holds out for a pay packet at least on par with Sanchez with his current contract set to expire in 2020.
