Tap on Dark Mode to turn the dark mode on. It is more comfortable than the blinding white mode. Then you'll see a dark mode option under the "General" tab of your settings menu.

Slack, the popular team-based messaging application has finally released a new update where it enables a long-awaited feature, the Dark Mode. Users that don't yet have the Slack update on their Android phones may wish to enroll in the beta to check it out. 9to5Mac also reveals how to enable it for yourself. It's really simple to become a beta tester for this workplace collaboration app, since all you have to do is go into your app settings. The update is now rolling out to the beta users so you will have to enrol in the beta program or wait for the feature to make it to the public app. Once you tap it, you need to provide your email address and name. The Android app will require you to restart the app before you can allow the dark mode. However, the iOS version lets you switch automatically. This again isn't anything bad given the various benefits that the dark mode stands for. There, you should see an option for enabling the theme. However, it is only applicable to the app launcher and notification shade. You will notice that dark mode is applied to menus, pop-ups, and the headers.
