Kyle Busch celebrated Sunday's win in the Ticket Guardian 500 with a burnout.

Kyle Busch held on for his first win of the year, claiming victory at the TicketGuardian 500.

The 2019 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series season is in full swing. It also gave him 199 victories over NASCAR's top three series and two straight wins in Arizona as he won at the one-mile oval last November.

Busch's win and strong overall start to the season have moved him to the top of the list of drivers who could win the 2019 NASCAR Championship, at least according to bookmakers. "It's for everybody else to discuss and talk about and argue over and debate".

"Man.", said Busch, who had to settle for finishing third last week in his hometown of Las Vegas after being penalized for speeding. Let's set it at a hundred and see if we can't get there.

Martin Truex Jr. also got around Blaney to finish second, taking advantage of a No. 19 auto that kept getting better on longer runs.

Aric Almirola of Stewart-Haas Racing and Hamlin rounded out the top five. Blaney said his vehicle drove better over the final run than he expected after his team only changed two tires on the final pit stop. "You've got to race hard first and worry about fuel afterwards". "After I got Blaney, I was able to save a little bit and take care of my tires for the rest of the lapped traffic I had to get through". Brad Keselowski, who won at Atlanta two weeks ago, suffered a couple of scrapes with walls and finished 19th.

Will Joey Logano make it two wins in a row following last week's triumph in Las Vegas? But both managed to get to the finish without coming seriously close to running dry, though Blaney had to make an effort to save fuel in order to do so.

"As I got on the back straightaway the throttle pedal was gone". He knew what situation I was in. "I was just trying to do everything I could to get it shut off, and yeah, really unfortunate for us today".

Chase Elliott rallied to ninth by the end of the stage after getting slapped with a pass-through penalty by edging Blaney at the start-finish line at the beginning of the race.
