Williamson scored 18 points to help lead the Blue Devils to an 81-71 victory over the Cavaliers in Charlottesville, Va. RJ Barrett scored led Duke with 26 points.

Duke's three wins (3-1) over AP top 10 teams are also an NCAA high this season, while Iowa State, Kansas, Kentucky, North Carolina and Virginia each have two. Virginia has only one flaw on its schedule so far this season. "We just kept rolling, kept making them, making them and making great plays.it was good". De'Andre Hunter is leading the team with 14.7 points and 5.4 rebounds per contest.

"I thought we were a little slow to our closeouts", Bennett said. "We really tried to keep them out of the lame, and jam the lane". He and Barrett are the highest scoring duo in the country this season at 45.0 points per game.

Freshman star Zion Williamson scored 18 points with five assists.

Kyle Guy led Virginia with 16 points but committed five of the Cavaliers' 14 turnovers. Virginia is putting up 72.9 points per game on offense this season while shooting 47.7 percent from the field.

Ty Jerome, who missed the Cavaliers' last game with a sore back, also had 16 points. Suddenly, Williamson came out of nowhere to swat the shot into the crowd - jumping from well inside the arc to close out on the attempt.

"They're just a good team, and we did what our principles tell us to do", Guy said. There's a reason many of them have gone viral.

"I didn't notice until probably the second half".

"It's the best we've shot from the three-point, and obviously, it's a huge difference", Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski said.

The momentum of Virginia's rousing finish to the first half failed to carry over coming out of the locker room.

After a break, it was Reddish who took over from long range, connecting three times as the Blue Devils pushed the margin to 52-41 in just over four minutes.

Williamson is the nation's only player averaging 20.0+ points and shooting.650+ from the field.

Virginia made several pushes only to be rebuffed by the Blue Devils. With Jones in the lineup, Duke leads the country in steal percentage (13.9).

When Barrett drilled a 3-pointer at the 11:20 mark, Duke led 22-11 thanks to eight of 12 shooting, including hitting six of seven 3-pointers. Duke and Virginia are meeting for the first time in the regular with each team having 20+ wins... The junior was unavailable for the February 2 game against Miami, the first time he has sat out in his career - a span of 89 games.

Virginia: The Cavaliers head to Chapel Hill to play No. 8 North Carolina on Monday night. "So we've practiced it a lot more".

It's unclear, according to Bennett, whether Diakite will be available against the Tar Heels. Saturday will be about Virginia getting their points from 3-point land. "He was playing really well".

"We knew we were capable of shooting", Reddish said.
