Amid accusations of racism against Liam Neeson that he sparked himself, Michelle Rodriguez defended the actor in a pretty interesting way! "Liam Neeson is not a racist", Rodriguez said, according to Vanity Fair. His tongue was so far down Viola Davis's throat.

'You can't call him a racist ever. Racists do not make out with the race they hate, especially in the way that he does with his tongue. "I hope he and people who hear the story understand the gravity of what he's saying, and that is if you are not careful, you can have inside of you a hatred that is encouraged or grown by the society you live in". It's all bullshit. Ignore it. He's a loving man.

However, now, Michelle realizes that her comment was insensitive and made a decision to apologize.

Now issuing a full apology, Michelle posted on Instagram: "To my friends and colleagues and my fans and community: I want to deeply apologize for my recent choice of words, and poor use of example".

'In a pressure-filled situation, I defended a friend in the wrong way. I now realize how insensitive it was, and I had no intention of invoking such a awful historical comparison. "I have learned from this, and will grow from it".

When chatting to the publication, the Taken star candidly said: 'My immediate reaction was... What colour were they?

Of course, that was 40 years ago, and the man confessed he was ashamed of what went through his mind at the time.

However, after the shocking comments, the Irish actor insisted he's not racist, telling Robin Roberts on Good Morning America: 'We were doing a press junket and the topic of the film is revenge, it's a dark comedy too.

'I had never felt this feeling before which was a primal urge to lash out'.
