Disney just debuted the latest trailer for their highly anticipated live-action remake of Aladdin, and they finally granted your wish: your first full look at Will Smith in action as the Genie. Despite the initial hesitation from fans, Aladdin producer Dan Lin insisted Smith's take on the character would, in fact, be blue in the movie.

The first photos of Genie were released by Entertainment Weekly in December, though Smith had to assure fans that his character would indeed be blue.

Alongside Smith, "Power Rangers" star Naomi Scott stars as Princess Jasmine and Canadian actor Mena Massoud stars as Aladdin.

Will Smith stunned Grammys viewers Sunday night as he made a very blue appearance as the Genie from "Aladdin".

Smith, who announced in October that he'd be playing the live-action version of Robin Williams' iconic Disney role, was transformed in a brief commercial for the movie during the show. Smith even tried to preempt criticism in an Instagram post. Ritchie, meanwhile, told the outlet that he "wanted a muscular 1970s dad" look. And I say this as someone who's been an ardent defender of Ritchie's last couple of fun-filled blockbusters. "He brings his own style and hip hop flavor to it".

Aladdin hits theaters on May 24.
