Wales global Ramsey has made more than 250 Premier League appearances since joining Arsenal from Cardiff City in 2008, but he failed to agree on a new deal with the London club in the final year of his contract.

Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey signs a pre-contract with Juventus which will earn the Wales global over £400,000 a week, according to a report.

Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey has agreed to join Italian giants Juventus next season in a deal that will net him in excess of $500,000 a week.

The move brings to an end Ramsey's 11-year spell with the Gunners having moved from Cardiff in 2008. The deal carries with it no transfer fee as his Arsenal contract expires on June 30.

Ramsey, 28, issued his own statement via Instagram.

"You welcomed me as a teenager and have been there for me through all the highs and lows I've encountered during my time at the club".

Ramsey will become the third Welshman to play for Juve, following in the footsteps of Ian Rush - who spent just one season in Italy - and John Charles, who spent five years with the club in the 1950s and 60s.

"Thank you. I will continue to give the 100% and hope to finish the season strongly, before heading on to my next chapter in Turin". Aaron's made a fantastic contribution to our club since joining from Cardiff City in 2008.
