The early steps into Anthem's future were laid out in a "gameplay calendar" breaking down the first act, Echos of Reality.

EA's upcoming video game Anthem now has two demo weekends behind it, but there are still a lot of questions from the fandom about the new, action-packed, high-flying franchise. It's broken into three distinct updates that promise new events, quality of life updates, new rewards, and expanded progression system, a new Stronghold, Guilds and Leaderboards, new missions, and what they're calling "The Cataclysm". According to its description, this trailer showcases your first story in Anthem, along with javelin personalization and a look at the expanding world of Anthem and its endgame content.

"They're created to be more seasonal", executive producer Mark Darrah said to GamesRadar of the event. He described them as "content that you engage with for weeks", which would come out less frequently than new challenges, events, and strongholds. The last three are called Grandmaster 1, 2, and 3.

Also central to Anthem's endgame are Cataclysms; limited-time world events which will alter the world and introduce various hazards including powerful creatures and extreme weather.

Endgame features will be available once the player reaches level 30, the maximum level in the game. Once you complete Anthem's main story, you can up the difficulty of the entire game to challenge yourself even more. Challenges will award you with coins and crafting materials, while strongholds are team-required missions with some of the biggest rewards. Contracts will allow players to increase their reputation with different factions, granting them access to crafting blueprints. Legendary Contracts will also be made available for players hungry for more hard, multi-part adventures.
