Unai Emery believes Arsenal are now too inconsistent to finish in the Premier League top four.

And head coach Emery accepts it is going to be tough to steer Arsenal back into the Champions League, the club having missed out on the tournament in each of the past two seasons. We need consistency over 38 matches.

The result means Manchester United will move level with Unai Emery's men with a victory at Tottenham on Sunday and could even overtake Arsenal should they win by three goals or more. "It's an issue that the club must see what is the best for him, for the player, for the club, for everyone".

"The big opportunity for us was that we can take in our hands the possibility to be closer to them. This result makes that more hard". They send little messages to us supporters and everybody who is watching that they have to work out. It's also the opposition team. The most important thing for us is to recover our confidence'.

Suarez flourished under Emery during a single season loan spell at Sevilla in 2014/15, helping the club win the Europa League. "We need to do more to be more competitive and to impose our ideas and our quality".

Emery left Mesut Ozil out of his matchday squad for the trip to West Ham despite the playmaker returning to training following an injury.

The defeat dented Arsenal's bid to break into the top four, with the Gunners still adrift of Chelsea - who face strugglers Newcastle at Stamford Bridge later Saturday - in the race for a Champions League place. He reminds me of Kante, Makelele, those type of players. Not one player is for sale. In that position it is very necessary for us to have players like that because the other three players - Wilshere, Lanzini and Yarmolenko - all have injuries.

"He is improving in every game he plays, he is now more used to giving us a good build-up in front".
