A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket is scheduled to launch today from complex 4-East at Vandenberg Air Force Base in California.

According to a tweet from Iridium CEO Matt Desch on Thursday, the Falcon 9 rocket was rolling out to the launch pad Thursday morning.

The mission will launch the final 10 Iridium Next satellites to space from Vandenberg, culminating a campaign that began with the first set of spacecraft heading to space January 14, 2017.

This is the eighth and final launch for Iridium using SpaceX's Falcon 9 rocket. The rocket carried the last batch of 10 NEXT satellites, which brought the total in orbit up to 75 after a successful deployment.
