The 44-year-old singer was on her way to rehearsals earlier this week when she took a fall and suffered a deep cut on her chin, as well as fracturing her left wrist.

The stars of 9 To 5: The Musical co-star have reached out to Louise Redknapp after her horror fall.

Producers are yet to replace Louise's starring role in the show, and said in a statement: "Due to an injury this week, Louise Redknapp has had to temporarily withdraw from performing the role of Violet in 9 to 5 The Musical". "It breaks my heart to say I am having to take some time out and won't be able to continue with my role in 9-5".

A source spoke to The Sun, explaining how disappointed Louise is about the news.

Louise looks set to miss the opening night of 9 to 5, which is to be attended by Dolly Parton, 72, herself, as well as weeks of shows. Then doctors told her she needs time out and can't do the show.

Louise went to hospital straight after her fall and received stitches with representatives saying she feels "gutted" to be missing the opening of her new stage project. "It doesn't seem fair", they added.

"The recovery time recommended means Louise is no longer able to properly rehearse the show in the remaining time left before opening".

Louise's 9 to 5 co-star and Love Island 2016 victor Amber Davies also shared a message about the incident.

Confirming Louise won't be better in time to make all of the shows, a rep for 9 To 5 said: "We hope Louise will start performances towards the end of March or early April".

'Together we have made the hard decision to delay Louise's start date in the show.

Louise continued, "Following my doctors orders- they have said I will be ok but as they say in the theatre "the show must go on" and I wish the rest of the fabulous cast and fantastic opening night and I will be back on that stage for 9-5 before you know it".
