"Having access to the sounds used in the film proved to be invaluable", she and O'Connell said in a statement. Billie Eilish will be hitting the road again as well as releasing her highly anticipated debut album this year, plus making appearances at the recently announced Coachella Festival in April.

"When I Was Older" is a track that will be featured on the upcoming Music Inspired By Roma album, which will included a collection of songs inspired by the Golden Globe-winning foreign-language film, curated by the movie's director Alfonso Cuarón. The chorus has the ocean sounds overplayed on it. Roma is not a movie aimed at Eilish's demographic, but here's Eilish with a Roma song anyway. "We were also able to take sounds like the student protest shouts and Borras barking and turn them into rhythmic percussive elements to help drive the song".

The gloomy, blippy track somehow recalls both Lil Uzi Vert's "XO TOUR Llif3" and Radiohead's "Pyramid Song", and it's billed as "from music inspired by the movie Roma", though it did not appear on that film's soundtrack. And it's probably not a coincidence that the song is coming out now, as Netflix, which released Roma, is trying to get more people to watch the movie, especially during its big Oscar campaign.

"WHEN I WAS OLDER" starts off with minimal, creepy instrumentation and soft spoke auto-tuned lyrics.

At just 17 years of age, American singer-songwriter Billie Eilish continues her rise to prominence, this week sharing a brand new song, titled "When I Was Older".

Eilish is a little older. Late past year, she released the singles "Come Out And Play" and 'When The Party's Over'.
