Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey will reportedly undergo his Juventus medical on Sunday.

The 28-year-old Wales worldwide had already been told by new Arsenal manager Unai Emery that he did not feature in his plans at the Emirates and will soon bring to an end his 10-year association with the north London club.

The Welsh star is expected to pocket £7.2m annually with a weekly wage of £140,000 making him Bianconerri second most top earner.

As a result, he has been allowed to discuss terms with various clubs this January, including Juve, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid, about a possible move in the summer.

Juventus have won the past seven Serie A titles, signed Ronaldo for €100m last summer and are now nine points clear of Napoli in second place after 19 games. They are once again in the last 16 of this year's competition, where they are facing Atlético Madrid. They have signed the likes of Emre Can, Dani Alves, Paul Pogba, Sami Khedira without paying any transfer fee for them in the recent past. He has played 252 top-flight games for the club, scoring 52 goals.

And Ramsey said as much to him during Arsenal's 3-0 win over Blackpool in the FA Cup last weekend.

Meanwhile, European football expert Andy Brassel claims Juventus are willing to bide their time to land Ramsey. Arsenal will regret seeing a player in the prime of his career leave under these circumstances.

Ramsey's contract with Arsenal, where he has spent the past ten years, expires in June, and the midfielder was not able to reach an agreement with the club over an extension.

Ramsey signed for Arsenal from Cardiff for £4.8m.
