Monday's arrest may cost Felder any hope of returning to the National Basketball Association.

Free-agent point guard Kay Felder has been waived by Raptors 905 of the National Basketball Association G-League after he was charged in connection with a domestic violence allegation, the team announced in a news release.

The incident began Saturday when he and the woman argued after dinner, wrote the sports news outlet, and Felder allegedly choked her.

Former Bulls and Cavaliers guard Kay Felder has been waived by the Raptors' affiliate in the G-League. The woman reportedly was able to contact a family member, who then called police, and she received medical treatment from paramedics for marks on her neck, per TMZ.

Felder, 23, did not suit up for a game with the Toronto Raptors this regular season after spending the exhibition slate with the team. "As this matter is before the courts, Raptors 905 will not comment further", via ESPN.

Kay Felder was demoted to the G-league back in October and now finds himself in a jam that might ensure he'll never be on a roster again if these allegations prove to be true.

Felder appeared in 11 games with Raptors 905 and averaged 18.1 points per game.

Felder is the most recent athlete to get in trouble for domestic violence.

Kansas City Chiefs running back Kareem Hunt was sacked by the team after TMZ released a video Friday of him attacking a woman at a Cleveland hotel.
