The Australian did provide one highlight with an outrageous behind the back pass to his new teammate Jimmy Butler in front of the NBA's premier defender Kawhi "The Claw" Leonard, but it was an otherwise disappointing showing from the youngster.

Earlier this year we were devastated when the Toronto Raptors chose to trade DeMar DeRozan to the Spurs. They are now the best team in the league with an outstanding 20-5 record.

The Raptors have won 21 of their 26 games this season to lead the National Basketball Association standings, with the 76ers, third in the Eastern Conference, falling to a 17-win, nine-loss record.

JJ Redick scored 25 points and Ben Simmons had eight points, 11 assists and 10 rebounds for the 76ers, who had their four-game winning streak snapped.

Leonard then proceeded to turn the tone of Wednesday's tilt around, leading Toronto on a momentum-changing 13-0 run that gave the Raptors a 53-48 edge at the break.

Leonard shot 13 for 24 from the field and finished one point shy of his season high.

Leonard has never lost in 12 career meetings with Philadelphia, including two victories this season.

Despite the defeat, fans were in awe as Simmons displayed his vast passing skills once again.
