2.0 box-office collection day 7: This is Rajinikanth’s highest grossing Hindi film

Lyca, the production house of Superstar Rajinikanth-Akshay Kumar- director Shankar's magnum opus "2.0" has revealed that the film has grossed more than 500 crore rupees at the worldwide box office. "500 crores worldwide! We at @DharmaMovies are so proud to be associated with the HINDI version of this movie marvel!"

On Tuesday, 2.0 made 11.50 crores thus witnessing a drop of 43% from opening day collections of 20.25 crores and 16% drop from Monday figures of 13.75 crores.

Noted film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the news on Twitter. In Hindi alone, 2.0 is by far the eighth biggest hit of 2018 and has bagged over Rs 132 crore in the first seven days of business.

According to a report in Boxofficeindia.com, the Hindi version of the film collected around Rs 9.50 crore which takes it first week total to Rs 129.75 crore.

"He wrote, "#2Point0 continues its winning streak. Interestingly, the maker are also planning to release the film in China in more than 10,000 theaters in May 2019.

Starring Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson in the lead roles, the film is about super robo Chitti's war against the Supervillain, who wants to avenge the death of birds.

Helmed by Shankar, 2.0 is bankrolled by A. Subaskaran.
