We've known for a while that Xiaomi had partnered with Three to bring its devices to the United Kingdom, alongside opening up its own store, but now we've finally learnt which devices will be coming to the network.

Back in September, when Xiaomi introduced the Mi 8 Pro and Mi 8 Lite, the company confirmed the handsets for a launch in China but was tight-lipped about any other potential releases. It will also be selling SIM-free smartphones for £1 as part of a special launch deal via its online retail store.

A second smartphone, the Redmi 6A, which costs £99 and claims to have a 19-day battery life in stand-by mode, was also announced during an event in London. Pre-orders open tomorrow, ready for a 21st November delivery. The carrier is offering a range of 24-month contracts, starting from £12 a month, with a one-off £19 upfront cost. The first batch of devices to get the stable China ROM update included Mi 6X, Mi 8 SE, Mi Mix 2, Redmi Note 5, Redmi 6 series etc. If you're in the region, do you plan on picking up a new Mi 8 Pro or Mi 8 Lite? It includes 8GB of RAM and 128GB inbuilt storage and will be available from the 9th November via Three, Amazon, Argos, John Lewis, Carphone Warehouse, Currys PC World, Very, Mobile Phones Direct, Katana and Mi.com.

To check for the latest MIUI ROM update on the above mentioned compatible Xiaomi devices, users can head to Settings on their devices and then select About phone System updates Check for updates.
