The real deal, though, is the in-game content Blizzard will give away to virtual ticket holders, starting with a new legendary skin for "Overwatch": Demon Hunter Sombra.

While playing on the new control map Busan, which went live for all Overwatch servers Tuesday, a Redditor discovered the Demon Hunter Sombra skin as an equippable skin in the hero select screen. It appears to be a crossover with Blizzard's Diablo property, and much more detailed than previous BlizzCon skins.

Last year, BlizzCon attendees, virtual or IRL, earned a BlizzCon-themed Winston skin.

This year's BlizzCon legendary Overwatch skin has been revealed.

With Blizzard having always been a titan of the gaming industry, the BlizzCon is one of the biggest conventions in the calendar.

BlizzCon 2018 will take place November 2-3 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, CA, while Blizzard will also be holding BlizzCon Opening Week from October 25-29 at Blizzard Arena Los Angeles in Burbank, California. More information about the event is expected in the months ahead. Admittedly, we don't know exactly when the new skin will arrive there, but I don't think it will take Blizzard all that long. As for what's upcoming this year, that's anyone's guess. Ticket-holders will also gain access to streams of the "Mythic, Legendary, and Epic stages" and an original BlizzCon video series, both which will only be available online with the Virtual Ticket. More in-game content is coming for other games, including "World of Warcraft", "StarCraft II", "Diablo III", and "Hearthstone".
