Apple claims that iPhone models that were shipped between September 2017 and March 2018 in some markets like China, Japan, New Zealand, or the United States are affected by the issue. Here is how they differ to help you work out which of the new iPhone X models is the right one for you. The device is expected to come in two form factors-one with a 5.8-inch screen, and another with a 6.5-inch screen-both utilizing OLED display technology, according to 9to5Mac. More information was revealed yesterday when the tech site was told by a few sources that the big version of the iPhone would be called iPhone XS Max. Apple first introduced a device sans a home button a year ago with the iPhone X, and if rumors are to be believed, the company is ready to go all-in with FaceID for all three new phones. The report also indicates that the prices will be similar to the Euro prices from past year for the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X 2017.

Coming to the iPhone XC, the phone will feature a 6.1-inch LCD screen in Glass and Aluminum body. None of Apple's models offer microSD storage expansion though all three new iPhones are now eSIM capable. The XS will feature Apple's A12 processor and is expected pair with 4GB of RAM. The iPhone X successors are expected to be called the iPhone Xs (pronounces iPhone 10s).

As for the design of the new iPhones, all of them will feature a similar design to the previous generation of iPhones.

A high-profile leak revealed that the 5.8-inch and 6.5-inch OLED iPhones that Apple will unveil on September 12 will be named the iPhone XS, and a concept video on the smartphones show how awesome they will look. The special event will take place on September 12th at 10:00 AM PT in the Steve Jobs Theater in Cupertino.

The top-end iPhone Xs Plus is said to sport a massive 6.5-inch AMOLED screen and a bigger battery.

Other reports speak about Apple's wish to switch to a new connector, possibly USB-C, sometime in the future but it is unlikely that we will see this change with this year's lineup. If it indeed comes, it may start off with the iPhone XS Max before upgrading to other devices in the future.

One interesting thing to note is the wallpaper seen on the iPhone XS. The iPhones will get a new version of Face ID 2.0 as per some reports as well as wireless charging support.

Alongside the iPhone X, Apple announced a wireless charging pad that can charge an iPhone, Apple Watch, and AirPods at the same time - something that's not now possible with wireless chargers based on the Qi standard. A 6.5-inch screen has actually been proposed.
