The Scottsdale Police Department confirmed that free-agent offensive lineman Richie Incognito was arrested Monday and is in custody.

After arriving at the funeral home, officers arrested Incognito and held him on misdemeanor charges of threats and disorderly conduct.

Per a source with knowledge of the situation, Incognito allegedly created a disturbance by "acting erratically and making the employees feel incredibly uncomfortable" while handling arrangements for his late father. Police reports indicated that Incognito also said he had guns in his truck, which proved to be true after police located and impounded weapons in his vehicle. This is the second time he has been in police custody since being released from the Buffalo Bills' retired list in May.

"Richie Incognito showed up there, mad at the employees there and said that he wants to kill someone", a woman said on the phone call. According to a report obtained by ESPN, Incognito had been in a paranoid state and "believed ordinary citizens were government officials that were tracking and recording him".

Incognito played college ball at Nebraska. He went on to spend four years with the Dolphins from there, and in 2012, he earned his first Pro Bowl invite.
