We're deeply committed to getting these games right, so we've made a decision to move the release date of Spyro Reignited Trilogy to November 13, 2018.

We've reached out to both Activision and Toys for Bob for more information on where they're looking to do with their extra time. The Spyro Reignited Trilogy has been delayed to November 13, 2018.

Those hoping to play Spyro Reignited Trilogy on September 21, 2018 will have to wait a while longer.

There's no doubt that the announcement of Spyro Reignited Trilogy has fans of the wisecracking purple dragon excited to see him return in the remastered compendium for the PS4 and Xbox One, but it looks as if fans might have to wait a little while longer before he swoops into action once more. In November when you're exploring the Dragon Realms, Avalar and the Forgotten Worlds, we know you'll agree the extra time was worth the wait, ' wrote Toys for Bob's Paul Yan.

It's just a shame that we'll be waiting a couple more months before we can revisit the PlayStation classic. Stewart Copeland is doing the reimagined soundtracks for the trilogy, and players can swap between the new and original soundtracks in the game's options menu.

Activision and Toys for Bob have also highlighted a number of levels recently, showing off Toys for Bob's endeavors to "get Spyro right", a mission the developers discussed with IGN during San Diego Comic-Con. That said, the November release date means it will have to compete with the likes of Hitman 2, Fallout 76, and Pokémon: Let's Go, all launching in the span of four days.
