She was released from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles over the weekend.

Demi Lovato has officially canceled the remaining dates of her Tell Me You Love Me tour after checking into rehab. Her tour was set to wrap later this year as she had a couple stops in Mexico and few in Latin America.

The "Confident" singer was scheduled to perform in Mexico in September and in South America in November.

Live Nation and Lotus Productions said they "wish Demi Lovato the best now and in the future and we hope to see her soon in South America". Refunds will be made available beginning Friday.

Following her release from hospital, Lovato broke her silence over the incident and thanked fans for their support as she vowed to do whatever she could to get back on the "road to recovery". "What I have learned is that this mental illness isn't something that disappears and fades with time", she wrote on Instagram.

She went on to tell her many followers that 'I now need time to heal and really focus on my sobriety and my road to recovery.

"I look forward to the day when I can say I came out on the other side", she said.

Lovato was hospitalized in July when she overdosed following a relapse after six years of sobriety.
