Those would include his distaste for being photographed without consent, which once resulted in the actor tossing a phone from a rooftop, and now, a shutterbug has accused Murray of slamming him against a door at a Martha's Vineyard restaurant called Lola's - but the restaurant's owner is siding with Murray.

The Boston Globe says it obtained a police report of the Wednesday night incident between Murray and photographer Peter Simon, the brother of singer Carly Simon.

Murray's entertainment lawyer didn't immediately respond to a request for comment Friday.

"He looked like he was ready to strangle me", Simon told the outlet.

Simon insists that he didn't even recognize Murray, who apparently felt likewise while allegedly pouring water all over the photographer's equipment.

Simon, who is singer Carly Simon's brother, said he was photographing a couple taking in a band at the restaurant for his weekly feature, Vineyard Scene, when he stepped into an alcove away from the dance floor to check to see if he got any good shots. "He treated me like the scum of the earth".

Simon said he didn't know it was Murray at first, though he later recognized him as he continued to take photos around the restaurant.

According to the police report, Murray was "visibly upset" and said Simon was harassing him.
