Fakhar Zaman is the first from his country to cross the 200-run mark.

Up against a weak Zimbabwe team, Imam and Fakhar made the most of the opportunity and posted the first 300-run opening stand in one-day internationals.

Pakistan have already clinched the five match series 3-0.

Zaman slashed an over-pitched delivery from Blessing Muzarabani that was directed outside off-stump to the boundary through the cover region to reach the milestone.

Fakhar, whose previous highest score in ODIs was 117no, pushed on after registering his third ODI century to register the highest score recorded by a Pakistan batsman in ODIs - beating Saeed Anwar's 194 against India in Chennai in 1997.

With the series already lost, Zimbabwe will play for pride in the fourth one-day global of the five-match series against Pakistan in Bulawayo on Friday and look to open their win account. That start converted into a record-breaking partnership. It is the highest ever ODI partnership by Pakistan, the highest ever opening partnership in ODI history and the fourth highest overall.

Ul-Haq struck eight fours on his way to 113 off 122 balls, before falling attempting to sweep spinner Wellington Masakadza.
