Veteran free agent forward Dante Cunningham has agreed to join the San Antonio Spurs on a one-year deal, according to a report from ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

The 6-foot-8 Cunningham reportedly considered the Spurs and the Brooklyn Nets after averaging 5.7 points and 4.1 rebounds in 73 games for Brooklyn and the New Orleans Pelicans last season.

Cunningham will provide the Spurs with additional versatility on the wing and front court.

Cunningham has played his nine National Basketball Association seasons with Portland, Charlotte, Memphis, Minnesota, New Orleans and Brooklyn.

"After making just two 3-point shots in his first six National Basketball Association seasons, Cunningham has shown an increased willingness to fire away from beyond the arc in recent years".
