Rudy Giuliani says smug Strzok's 'pathological hatred' has tainted entire Russian Federation probe

Strzok was a lead agent in both the Russian Federation probe and the investigation into 2016 Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton's use of a private email server while she served as secretary of state.

Democratic Representative Luis Gutierrez said when it was his turn to question Strzok: "Congratulations Kremlin, and congratulations to everyone who is helping them".

In an explosive, hourslong congressional hearing Thursday, FBI agent Peter Strzok was defiant as Republicans unleashed blistering attacks, saying his anti-Trump sentiment - captured in personal text messages - is evidence of bias at the Justice Department. "We'll stop it", he said. They are safely walled off from any individual's personal political views, he said.

Louie Gohmert caused an uproar at a congressional hearing Thursday when he accused an Federal Bureau of Investigation agent of lying under oath and asked him "how many times" did he look "so innocently into [his] wife's eyes and lie to her" about a marital affair.

Amid the sound and fury from the insufferable Democrats acting as obstructionists and cheerleaders during disgraced FBI Agent Peter Strzok's congressional testimony Thursday, an extremely important revelation was nearly lost in the noise. He told Gohmert the fact that he would say that "shows more what you stand for" than anything else.

She wondered if it was time to remove the cameras from congressional hearings. President Trump is being investigated by people who possess pathological hatred for him.

"It was in response to a series of events that included then-candidate Trump insulting the immigrant family of a fallen war hero", Strzok said, "and my presumption based on that terrible, disgusting behavior, that the American population would not elect someone demonstrating that behavior to be president of the United States".

Strzok has met with members of the House Judiciary Committee privately, but his hearing scheduled for Thursday is open. That text was at the forefront of the hours long back-and-forth with Republican lawmakers Thursday. In it, Strzok describes his reluctance to work on behalf of the special counsel, and that seemed to imply he didn't think there would be substantial findings of collusion between Russian Federation and the Trump campaign team. He was removed from the Russian Federation investigation past year after the texts were discovered.

"This is the first time I've seen Congress as frustrated with Congress as we are!"

Goodlatte threatened to hold Strzok in contempt at the end of the hearing if he did not answer Gowdy's question.

This, I think, is a smart tactic-playing defense would allow the Republicans to continue insinuating guilt, while going on the offensive against their inquisitors casts the accusations in their proper partisan light.

"I like Louie Gohmert a lot, [but] I thought that moment, that exchange with Gohmert and Strzok, I don't think that was good", she concluded.

That meant Justice Department investigators could access all their messages, including the ones in which they criticized Trump and appeared to discuss how they might use their powers to keep him from being elected.

Former FBI Assistant Director James Kallstrom told FOX Business that the "lies" perpetrated by FBI agent Peter Strzok are consistent with the lack of leadership exemplified by the agency's former director, James Comey.
