According to police, airport worker Frank Ragin "made a gesture at Jones" that launched an argument between the two near gate B6 at Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport on Tuesday night. Jones confronted Ragin verbally and things escalated from there. Bad news for him is that he was identified as the one who started the fight and was therefore arrested. "During the course of the incident Mr. Ragin also struck a companion of Mr. Jones, causing an injury to her hand".

TMZ is reporting that the Cincinnati Bengals CB was involved in a violent altercation at the Atlanta airport, and apparently, an employee was behind the attack.

Ragin and Jones exchanged punches before Ragin fell to the ground. On August 25, 2006, during training camp, Jones was arrested in Murfreesboro, Tennessee for disorderly conduct and public intoxication.

Jones and a female companion of his declined medical treatment. In 2012, a jury ordered Jones to pay $11 million in damages to the victims. He also pleaded guilty to obstructing a police officer previous year, served a few days in jail and was suspended by the league for a game. He was infamously out of the league for one season following a report that he was alleged to have ordered a shooting outside a strip club in Atlanta in 2007. In the end, the other guy falls onto his back before Jones is pulled away. In 2014, he was named First-team All-Pro and in 2015 he made his only Pro Bowl appearance.
