Oppo calls this technology - O-Face.

The phone has been launched for the Chinese, American and European markets and will be launched officially in India on July 12. Here's a closer look at everything that the Oppo Find X brings to the table. As for the performance, the flagship comes powered by the top tier Snapdragon 845 chipset backed by an Adreno 630 GPU and 8GB of RAM.

Just went I felt uncomfortable enough with the Samsung Galaxy's iris scanner, along comes Oppo wanting us to holds its beer.

The new Find X, unveiled in Paris today, has a truly edge-to-edge, 6.4-inch screen with insanely slim bezels. There's OIS and also lots and lots of AI on-board. Not only will this section house the 25MP front-facing camera, but it will also host sensors for the firm's O-Face recognition system.

In terms of software, the Oppo Find X comes with Android 8.1 Oreo on board out of the box.

The Find X may be unusual on the outside, but inside it's what we've come to expect from a 2018 flagship Android smartphone.

Oppo Find X is fuelled by a 3,730mAh battery along with support for the company's VOOC fast charge technology.

If money is no object, would you get the OPPO Find X Lamborghini or the Porsche Design Mate RS? A completely clean front and back. There are no physical buttons. All the cameras on the Find X are hidden and pop-up with sliding structure. The Find X's Smart Selfie Capture function will analyse the 3D model of your face to look at your face shape and features so it can provide feedback so you can up your selfie game. The smartphone's front and rear cameras along with a 3D sensor pop out once you launch the camera app.

OPPO already has experience in the field of rotating cameras so there should be no issues with the durability of the sliding system though it should be noted that since this is a moving part, it will wear down eventually. It does not have a 3.5mm headphone jack as well. The Find X showcases its design-forward appearance with the seamless Panoramic Arc screen before anything else, but flip the phone over to the back and you'll see the gradient colors that Oppo built into the phone using a "unique process" that allows the colors to shift slightly in different light, not too unlike what HTC has done with some of its most recent phones. Oppo claims that it has dedicated 93.8-percent of the fascia to the display.

It is the same with the standard Find X, but decked out in Lamborghini styling.

The phone will be available in two colours - Bordeaux Red and Glacier Blue - for €999 with the phone going on-sale in Europe in August.

"OPPO's relentless efforts in creating smartphones that push the boundaries led to the creation of the Find Series". The special edition comes with engraved logo and offers 512GB of RAM and Super VOOC fast charging. OPPO says the Find X Automobili Lamorghini Edition will cost €1,699, though no dates have been given for launch.
