This is the moment a female sports journalist is groped by a man on live TV while covering the World Cup in Russian Federation - and bravely carries on reporting.

As she was speaking, a fan came shouting where she was, groped her on the breast and kissed her on the cheek.

Footage shows the man move towards Theran without hesitation before placing his hand on her chest and kissing her cheek.

According to The Sun, the reporter spoke out about the incident and said: "I was there for around two hours preparing my things and nothing happened to me". She posted the video on her Instagram page, with a caption in Spanish, that roughly translates in English to this: "RESPECT!"

But once the cameras were off, Theran took to social media to slam the man's actions.

'I had to continue, afterwards I tried to see if the man was still there but he had left'.

"We do not deserve this treatment". We are equally as professional and deserving. I share the joy of football but we must identify the limits between affection and harassment.' She added.

Thousands of Julieth's followers praised her reaction to the incident, with one writing: "You handled yourself really well but the man is a first-class imbecile and disrespectful".
