Hopefully, the flagship phone will be launched here in Malaysia in the near future. Are you impressed with the smartphone? When you turn the Find X on and open the camera app, the entire top section of the phone motorizes up and reveals a 25-megapixel front-facing camera, 3D facial scanning system, and 16-megapixel + 20-megapixel dual rear camera. The invite reads, "Find what you have have been looking for until now" which hints at the launch of the Oppo Find X.

Oppo Find X: A Flagship Reborn?

The Find series is making back after a long gap of four years and as expected, Oppo is making sure its Find X gets all the desired attention.

It seems that some manufacturers have found a replacement of the notch. Now new information about the Oppo Find X points out that the phone will have a screen-to-body ratio above 90 percent. The comparison to Samsung phones is apt in this case, as the phone apparently looks like a Galaxy S9+.

The Oppo Find X is official, and it's every bit as futuristic as it was touted to be prior to launch. Viewers can watch the live stream event below. A recent leak tipped it to be priced at over CNY 4,500 (roughly Rs. 47,500) in China. The company has been regularly posting teasers of the phone, confirming features. Evidently, the Find X may come with the 5x Dual Camera Zoom feature that Oppo showcased at the MWC in 2017. According to Oppo, the phone will have a bezel-less display with a 93.8 percent screen-to-body ratio. The Find X has a 6.4-inch screen which is a big jump when compared to the 5.5-inch screen of the Find 7 and Find 7a, but with practically no bezels, there isn't a huge difference in the size of both phones.

Other leaks have also revealed that the Find X might have a very unusual notch at the top of the display.

Oppo Find X global launch: What to expect? We will have to wait to find out. However, until there's a better solution for getting rid of the selfie camera from the front, phone makers will probably continue building phones with similar setups. The smartphone is expected to be available in China first, and is tipped to be positioned in the premium smartphone range, given its specifications and design rumours.
