Resident Evil 2 originally launched in 1998 and is considered a cult classic. Spoiler: the game still looks incredibly scary and has clearly benefited from the changes that Capcom has made to its controls and visuals. The classic video game is being remade for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. According to Capcom, the genre-defining masterpiece is completely rebuilt from the ground up for a deeper narrative experience.

Capcom has confirmed that Resident Evil 2 remake will include Tofu as an unlockable bonus as per the original game, alongside The Fourth Survivor mode featuring gas-masked fan-favourite Umbrella Agent Hunk.

The first trailer for Resident Evil 2 Remake serves as an effective teaser for a game many people thought they'd never actually see. Both Leon and Claire have their own separate playable campaigns, allowing players to see the story from both characters' perspectives. Along with college student Claire Redfield, who is briefly glimpsed in the new trailer, Kennedy must escape his overrun precinct and navigate his way out of the city of the insatiable dead.

Over four years in the making, the RE4 HD Project improves the original game's textures, lighting-its new dynamic lighting and shadows look particularly nice here-UI, character models, items and more.
