Strong Storm Damages Businesses, Overturns Cars In Luzerne County

The weather service said two storm survey teams on Thursday will asses the "considerable storm damage" in the Wilkes-Barre area and in Bradford County around Franklindale.

There were six people injured, NWS said. Tornadoes are categorized from EF0, which are weaker with wind speeds between 65 and 85 miles per hour, to EF5, which are considered violent with wind speeds of more than 200 miles per hour.
