Today at E3, Sony announced a new title from Squanch Games, Trover Saves the Universe.

Of all the games showcased at Sony's E3 press conference this year, Trover Saves the Universe is probably the most peculiar one. While details surrounding gameplay are sparse, it will be out early 2019. Both characters we saw, Bath Tub Guy and another near the end of the trailer whose eyes had eyes, were voiced by Justin Roiland, who also wrote the story for the game.

The game is scheduled for release on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation VR and includes a third-person view that seems like a platform experience but spliced with Just Roilands comedy.

"Wonderful. Your dogs have been dognapped by a beaked lunatic who stuffed them into his eye holes and is using their life essence to destroy the Universe".

Trover Saves the Universe is one of those games that makes me wonder if I am now hallucinating. Does that make any sense?

The action platformer, developed by Roiland's Squanch Games, is the second title from the studio, after PSVR title Accounting+.
