Mew comes pre-installed on the PokeBall Plus accessory.

Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu and Eevee and the Pokeball Plus will be available for the Nintendo Switch on November 16, 2018. During the Nintendo Treehouse stream, Pokemon Director Junichi Masuda joined the Nintendo team to discuss the upcoming Nintendo Switch games.

Take your Pokemon journey to the Kanto region with your partner Pikachu or Eevee to become a top Pokemon Trainer as you battle other trainers. Because it has motion control capability, when a wild Pokemon appears, users can "throw" the PokeBall Plus accessory.

What is very interesting, is that every time you shake the PokeBall plus, the Pokemon that are inside will make a sound.

You can play Pokemon GO without actually checking your phone. Assuming Mew won't be available through regular gameplay in Pokemon Let's Go, then that pretty much leaves the Poke Ball Plus as your only option for obtaining one. By showing different LED light patterns, it will inform you if you have caught the Pokemon. Offering Mew as a carrot on a stick for those who might be on the fence about the Poke Ball Plus is a clever tactic on Nintendo's part, especially when so much of the Pokemon gameplay loop revolves around catching as many monsters as you can.

The bundle may seem a little expensive, but if the device is anything like the Go Plus was at launch, we can expect it to be incredibly hard to hunt down and purchase.
