Ultimate fighting star Conor McGregor heads to a vehicle to leave Brooklyn Criminal Court, Friday, April 6, 2018 in NY.

Conor McGregor has returned to New York City for a hearing in his bus attack case - where he's facing up to 7 YEARS in prison - and TMZ Sports will be live streaming from the courthouse.

Video showed what appeared to be McGregor hurling a hand truck at a bus full of fighters after a news conference for the UFC 223 event at Barclays Center in April. White revealed they are due to meet on Monday.

"I don't know what's going to happen", White told TMZ. Two fighters hurt by broken glass were unable to compete.

McGregor will be in court Thursday to answer to multiple charges stemming from the videotaped rampage, resulting in three charges of assault and one count of criminal mischief.

"Conor and I are going to meet in Las Vegas", White remarked. I don't know what Conor and his team have worked on.

Do you expect to see McGregor back in the UFC anytime soon?

Though seasoned trial attorney Bob Latham told MMAWeekly.com that it was unlikely that McGregor would eventually be convicted of a felony or face jail time, he also warned that it is unlikely that Thursday's court appearance provides a resolution.

But he never defended the title, entering the boxing ring instead to take on Floyd Mayweather in August 2017, and McGregor was stripped of his title by UFC - with president Dana White announcing the decision in the build-up to UFC 223.
