Wolves have completed the loan signing of Mexico global Raul Jimenez from Benfica.

A native of Tepeji, Mexico, Jimenez will wear El Tri's No.9 jersey at the World Cup.

Jimenez started only six of his 33 league appearances for Benfica last season, scoring six times, and will now seal his move subject to worldwide clearance and a work permit.

Jimenez won consecutive Primeira Liga titles with Benfica in 2016 and 2017, in addition to the Portuguese Cup and Portuguese League Cup.

Wolves will look to make an impression on their return to the Premier League, and their ability to find the net on a regular basis could be the difference between a top half finish and looking nervously over their shoulder.

Supporters proudly buy football shirts donning their favourite players, and Jimenez is an extremely popular character when taking into account his achievements at Mexico's biggest club side Club America.
