Last year's NBA Draft was the beginning of a wild summer with a few significant trades, none bigger than Jimmy Butler being dealt to the Timberwolves for Zach LaVine, Kris Dunn, and a swap of first round picks.

We have talked about Luka Doncic and the Los Angeles Clippers before.

The 2018 NBA Draft will be the opposite of the 2018 NBA Finals.

Potential top overall pick Luka Doncic will remain in the 2018 National Basketball Association draft.

- Suns want 2nd top 10 pick? If so, this is the trade package I would explore if I am the Clippers.

The Phoenix Suns have the No. 1 overall pick, and they're still considering Doncic even after bringing in the top college players for workouts over the past week. With cap space, and the need to rebuild, the Clippers can afford to take on the awful contract of Chandler Parsons by parting ways with Tobias Harris and Patrick Beverley, both of which are on expiring deals. In his one season at the University of Arizona, Ayton turned one of the best freshman seasons in the school's history, capped off with the Pac-12 Player of the Year Award.

With two lottery picks, this also gives the Clippers an opportunity to try and trade up and draft a potential superstar. They could use both first round picks, but the idea of Doncic playing at the Staples Center is tantalizing.
